TomTom Model(s)
TomTomGo Android App
Hi,
I've found that you can use what3words to find a location, then have the option to navigate using one of your installed apps.
My TomTomGo is listed, and if I select it, I get a preview of the location in the TomTom app, including the co-ordinates.

But..... That's all I can do. I can't start the navigation, and whether I click on the "back" arrow in the top left, or the 'X' in the top right, TomTom goes back to the home screen. A long press on the displayed co-ordinates doesn't do anything either.

Anyone know of a solution please?

I didn't know about "what3words". Interesting app/service.

But I don't have option to use my TomTom Go, it's not listed in Share option. I do have listed other navigation apps that are installed (not all of them, including TomTom Go).

Hi, that's interesting as well. My what3words actually had a "navigate" button as well as the Save and Share.

I have found the answer though, and it was because I didn't have the maps for the target area installed. Now I've done that, tomtom gives me the Drive option

In what3words Android app I also have options "Share", "Navigate" and "Save". If I go to "Navigate" it opens a list with title "Get Directions" and in the list I have some of the installed navigation apps (Google Maps, Sygic, Here WeGo, Maps.Me). But no TomTom Go :(

Hmm, don't think I can help there. I only have maps and tomtom installed, so get these three options.
You can't scroll the list of options down can you?

It has left to right scroll, with 8 apps. It seems that 8 is max for display, and some of them are even not navigation apps, but some apps that use maps. So I uninstalled two of those apps, and now I have TomTom Go in that list :) , and it works great :)
