I bought my TT 910 about a year ago and it worked great and helped us find a lot of places that were difficult to get to. However, it locked up a lot. I tried to get online with it but never was able to get online. I haven't tried for 6 or 8 months so I don't remember exactly why I could not get online. As I remember I would get to a window on the computer and could never get past that window. I was using a Mac Book Pro at the time running Tiger. I am now running Leopard.

I had not tried to use my TT all summer, we use it in our motor home. The last time we came home from a trip it was locked up and I never got around to try getting it working. We are going to be making a trip the end of this month and I would like to get it working.

I charged it up today using the MH battery, it did nothing, I did a reset. If I push the start button nothing happens.

I held down the start button for over a minute and nothing.

and all I can get is the TT first screen, a second screen with a progress bar, then another screen showing a picture of the TT.

After messing with the thing for 20 or 30 minutes it got it to work, but I have no faith in it working consistently.

Since you had it off for several months, it obviously needed to be charged first. It probably also needed a lot of time to find the satellites for the first time again.

I would make sure it is fully charged (tap the screen in the very lower right corner and it should display some info including a battery meter icon). Then turn it on, let it get up and running, and then shut it down. Do this a few time and see how it works.

If it hangs up, you might do a pin reset, which 910's seem to need occasionally.

Thank you for responding to my question. I did charge the TT. In the morning I will try to update the program, maybe that will fix it.
