What happened to the old TomTom Home format?

I am running a new TomTom 930 and my computer is a quad MacPro running under OS 10.5.5. When I opened TomTom Home, I did not get the format I had gotten before. Now I get a series of panels but not a complete ability to add and/or delete items from my device.

Am I missing something or is the version 2.2.2.8 too old?

There is a newer version of Home (2.56) for the PC. When you start up Home, are you offered a newer version?
