I note that my TOmTOm overspeed alert warning is too late. In a 20 mph limit the speed panel turns red at 23 but the warning sound stays silent until 25. This is too late as police in Wales enforce at 24/25. Yesterday I hit 25 in a 20 twice in a 12 mile trip but didn't notice as I was watching what was going on outside the car. Many of the 30 mile limits I have been driving for decades are now 20 limits.
I have asked this before but surely there must be a way to have the warning sound off when the speed warning turns red at 23.
