I was impressed with the details of the new TT go Navigation device and a bought a 7” direct from TomTom. Despite stating delivery was within a few business days, it took two weeks to arrive.
it was far worse than my previous device, (which also uses bluetooth or phone hotspot Wi-Fi) it wouldn’t connect via Bluetooth to the phone, and to use Wi-Fi from the phone’s hotspot, I had to go into the settings - Wi-Fi menu each time, so I sent it back as faulty. They sent a UPS label to use, it was going to Romania.
it was posted on 24 April and didn’t arrive till 7 May. But I have had no communication a week later, and emails about the refund go unanswered. I fear I’m going to have to get the money back from my credit card.
with slow delivery, slow returns and no refunds, I recommend buying from Amazon etc if you want a new device. But with the backward steps of no Bluetooth connection working and no auto acceptance of Wi-Fi, the very latest series are not really great anyway.
