Vague final destination

When I arrive at the final destination, the Tom Tom announces this about 30 to 50 yards before I get there ... even when I'm going very slow. When I get to my home, for example, the Tom Tom says I'm there about 3 houses before I get there, but if I watch the direction arrows, it actually guides me into my driveway.

I had an Omnitech GPS (Staples brand) before the Tom Tom, and it would even tell you that your final destination is on the right (or left) right down to within a few feet.

I really like the Tom Tom for a lot of reasons, but it does not inspire much confidence in it's final destination announcement.

I like that it says it early because sometimes it's a bit off. Like addresses that are 1550, it thinks it's halfway between 15th and 16th street when it's actually right on 16th street. It says you reached your destination, so that on your next trip it won't keep trying to tell you to 'turn around when possible', instead it will let you drive in peace and quiet.
