v3 home inop

Installed the latest map in my tt1 v3 & now home is inop. I first setup home & then later clicked on home. Got no route found. Anyone got any ideas? TIA

When you say 'home', are you referring to your home location rather than TomTom's Home software?

And, if so, did you get the map from TomTom using Home and do you have the latest application for your unit?

logged on to web site with unit attached & downloaded all. Think it was a new version of tt1 v3 for the gps & new maps. Now i can set up the home location for the gps but when ever i select home(show me the way home) i get: no route. Or something close to that.

If you set your Home location off a navigatable road (like in a looooong driveway or something like that), then the tomtom may likely give that error. It can only route you to the closest location on a road.

So, take your unit to the road, wait for a gps signal and then set that as your Home location.

(some, for safety sake, do NOT show their actual home location as Home on the unit, in case the unit gets lost or stolen.....)
