TomTom Model(s)
TomTom GO and AmiGO (both Android)
I'm using TomTom GO (usually) on Android Auto. After trying a bit, I found out how to open TomTom GO navigation using my voice (with Google/Gemini Assistant).
Now I'm looking if TomTom GO can use a voice command for navigation. It would be nice to say: "Navigate to (home/work)" and navigation would start.

If you have TomTom Go open in AA (Android Auto) you can use Google Assistant to set a destination. Other functionality i have not tried.
As far as is know you can not set TomTom Go as your default navigation app in Android Auto. At least i did not find an easy option for this

But how can you tell AA that it should use TomTom? Because the default navigation app is Google Maps, all navigation commands goes to it.
To be honest, I have even problem how to open TomTom with voice (the reason could be maybe my accent).

When i have TomTom Go open (active), i activate Google Assistant and ask Google "Navigate to ........"
Result is a calculated route in TomTom Go.

Android Auto defaults to the last used Navigation app. So Android voice commands will use Tomtom if that is the most recently used app.

I tried yesterday. AA works like a gambling machine. Sometimes it works as described above, sometimes it understands but doesn't work as it should, sometimes it says "something was wrong" ...

Things are even more complicated for users living in countries whose languages aren't supported (yes, I'm in that circle of people). AA then can't understand the address, location, POI - but that is understandable.
