Using an SD card - How to

This TomTom thing has me flummoxed.

I am sure the answer to this question is somewhere on the forum but I have given up searching.

So here's the scoop.

I made an itinerary on Google Maps. I then used Houghi and saved the itinerary to my SD card. Inserted the card into the 720 but can find no way to access the card.

I assume that I must copy some TT files onto the SD card but have no idea what files etc.

Please tell me, step by step what the process is.

Make a folder on the sd card called 'itn' (all lower case, no quotes).

Now, move the file you created with the extension of .itn into the folder you just created (use Explorer to do the moving of the file).

Insert the card into the unit. Start the unit. Go to Itinerary planning and see if you can select the one on the card.
