i have the tomtom app on my iPhone and iPad but my iPad is not the cellular model. Looking on eBay I can see that GPS receiver dongles are are available that plug directly in the Lightning port so will that make my iPad into a useable navigation device. Jut trying to weigh up my options really. The iPhone is a bit small to see properly and some might the iPad is quite the opposite. Here in the UK the dongle costs about £100.00 which is cheaper than buying a new tomtom.

I don't want to waste money on a dongle if it won't work.
