I didn't say I could fix it. I just asked what issues you were having. Is it a device that uses Home? If so, have you ever made a backup of the device?
@eglideic
You won't find 'repair' by TomTom in North America.
If you've ever done a proper backup or download a full map set for it, we can probably walk you through your own 'repair'.
Please advise
a) what are your symptoms?
b) what kind of backup have you ever done with this unit?
c) have you ever downloaded a full map set for it?
I am not a tech geek and no nothing about backups, other than backing up a car. I do know a bit about how to operate a TomTom and this unit is completely messed up.
I only want the name and address of a repair shop or somebody who can fix it. If someone out there can fix it, I'll send it to them. if not it's going in the trash.
There are no 'repair' facilities in North America, so you'll have to depend upon a fellow user to take this in hand, if you can get a volunteer.
Before considering that, I'd now like to know just two things from the above list:
a) What are your symptoms? Please be as specific as you can.
c) Have you ever downloaded a full new map set for it? (since it's an "M" version, I would have expected that you would have done so at least once during its life).
