Updating

Hi Guys
Anyone got any idea on how often you should update your device, days, weeks, months?
Any guidelines will be a help!

This really depends upon how you are using the device:

Do you use MapShare, if so update on a regular basis.

Other updates such as phone databases don't get released very often, map updates (which cost) are released every three months, qGPS (if you use it) is weekly although these days I fail to see why they even bother with qGPS

As for Postcode databases they never get updated by Home, for these you have to manually download them and add the new data to the unit using Windows Explorer - Mike
