updated gps

ok i updated my gps and now it just sits on the tomtom starup screen. Now what do i do?

I am not the expert in this area but two things can be at fault. One; be sure that you disconnect from Home properly by using the option disconnect unit. If you just unplug it strange things can happen. If this does not solve the problem, depending on your model try a hard reset. For many of us it is the famous paper clip. For a better answer from some of the experts what unit do you have? and I hope you made a good back up before you updated.
