Can I Load Back My Past Locations In My New 2g Card On My 300
The Update To The 2g Card And Loading Lastest Usa Map Almost
Perfect--i Would Like My Old Locations In The New Card!!! Is
This Possible???

You mean your favourites? If so, you can copy a backed up mapsettings.cfg file from a backed up map to the map folder of an updated map.

Backup

My backup is from the earlier software before I installed 2g card and software
upgrade. Will that make a problem?? I am not up on tt software but I am
not a novice on computer software.

Should not matter although those with firmware 8.3 are finding that file is being wiped out by the firmware and a new one automatically created. So, copying from an older map to a new (815) with f/w 8,3 installed doesn't work.

But, I don't believe you have either that map (815) or f/w (8.3) installed. So try it.

Yeah - don't believe 8xx applications are an option on older devices, 7.9xx would be though - does it have the same issues with mapsettings file?

Going from 7 to 8 you have to renew your favourites manualy. You could make a poi group of your favourites to make it easier to copy back.
