update problem

My tomtom go 1000 device has new update so I launched my tomtom program and I clicked new update and tomtom web site opened.But then web site said me: ''you have to install mytomtom application'' but it have already been installed.Please help me
 
I would recommend uninstalling and reinstalling MyTomTom. For this first attempt, we won't recommend using the whole Revo uninstaller technique that is sometimes necessary, but if a simple reinstall of the latest software doesn't help, we may recommend that next.

For the moment, use your OS to uninstall your current copy, then get the latest package again here: https://www.tomtom.com/en_gb/mytomtom/getstarted/

After the delete/reinstall, you'll need to reboot your PC or stop the existing MyTomTom process and manually run it again so that the new one is used.
 
Hmmmm.....

1. Restart the computer. Then try resetting the unit by holding the power button 15-20 seconds till you hear the drum sounds. Then, connect to the computer. Does the appropriate MyTT web site open?

2. If not, download the freeware version of Revo Uninstaller from here: http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html and completely uninstall Home 3. Then get a fresh copy at tomtom.com/getstarted.

Any better?
