uninstall and reinstall

Just got rid of my ancient Tomtom and bought a Via135. As the Via135 uses Tomtom my drive which i assume is different to home can I safely uninstall tomtom home and all associated back ups to free up space on my computer.

If you have custom POI folders, save them.

Just remember -- you do NOT want to use the old email address from your XL when setting up your new 135 with TomTom. TomTom still tracks units by email address instead of serial number, and you do NOT want to confuse their servers!

I changed the email and password on the XL before I got rid of it. So I assume I can create a new account using the original email
