UK Maps vs Western Europe

Probably a naive question, but is the UK section of the Western Europe maps in as much detail as the the UK and ROI maps?

It really depends upon the device as the higher spec units have more colour definition to the map but the road network is identical to all intents and purpose when you compare the UK&ROI to the Western_Europe map - Mike

Thanks, Mike. It's the same device, a TomTom Rider V2. The choice is whether to download the full Western Europe, or upgrade the UK & ROI maps. It's only ?10 more to get the Western Europe, potentially more useful for touring next year. But as the majority of use will be in the UK, I don't want to sacrificeroad detail..
