typed letters and numbers off by one

I have a TomTom One. When you type in letters or numbers they are off by one letter or number. If you type a M it thinks its an L. If you type 3 it thinks its a 2. Is there a way to correct this?

Try resetting the unit by holding the power button about 10 seconds till you hear the drum sounds.
