Tucson Maps

What happened to map data for Tucson? Big pieces of the city and some major roads have no data. In New England maps seemed fine but here in Tucson navigation is almost impossible.

The roads are there but even the National Parks aren't listed. There are no addresses or cross streets for E Broadway one of the major commercial streets in the city. Almost every restaurant I want to go to isn't listed.

A major update is very badly needed ... I didn't realize how much I relied upon GPS location data until I got here to Tucson and my TomTom doesn't have most of it.

What unit and what map version do you have? 860 is the latest version and 865 will be out within a week or so.

I think you were probably in the wrong mode or something. Mine works fine, though I do have the latest map update.

Go to Browse Map> Find> Address> Zip Code
A common mistake at this point is forgetting to set the correct state or province. Choose AZ at the upper right in the pull down menu. (First, press whatever state appears in the green box -- not the down arrow yet, until Alabama appears as the first state.)
Enter "85701" for Tucson then press "85701 (Tucson AZ)"
Enter Street: "E Broadway Blvd" and press this name when it appears. (Often you don't have to type the whole thing.)
Then you'll get a number pad with </Crossing/Back/OK at the bottom. Press "Crossing"
Press the "down arrow" button at the upper right, and every cross street is there. There are 100s of listed cross streets for E. Broadway Blvd.
