i ran the updates for the Tomtom home for my TT910. now, its locked up on boot up. all i see now is the white background with a tomtom unit on a dock pic, and words on the right bottom, tomtom - find your way the easy way.

i hit the reset button and hold on the power button for 3-4 second and i'm still getting the same thing. when i put the tt910 next to my hear, i hear a tiny high pitch sound coming from it.

i plugged the unit onto the usb and it connected to my computer. i tried clicking on the factory settings and i'm still getting the same thing.

Did you try the update? My 910 is doing the same thing, My version is 6.525, that update does not include that.

I had the same thing happen with my 910 last week, fortunately a re-boot did the job....on contacting support, I looked at the link posted above and it's US of course. Does anyone know how I find out who to contact in Europe, or Italy to be precise?

Maybe you can try to hook up your TT910 in your computer and open the program:Tomtom home then go to expore. If you don't see the Tomtom GO910 application on the upper right hand then your TTGO910 application has been corrupted. To re-intall this, you should have the TT910 application on your computer then you should re-intall it. If you don't have it there then it should be in the DVD if you have one. If not contact Tomtom Tech. support.

When this happened to me after an update...I ran the "error checking" tool in Windows and checked "fix errors" for the TT hard drive. Just right click on the TT in your "My Computer", go to properties, go to tools, and select error check. This took a long time so I did that before I went to bed and woke up to a fully functional TomTom 910.
