Is there any way of disabling the zoom feature? I mean when i zoom out to look at a larger area, within 10 seconds it goes back to normal. I think this is the only thing that bothers me about the unit

On TomTom Navigator 6 software when using a "north at top" 2D map, the zoom level stays where you put it. I really wish they would add this to the ONE/ONE XL.

I was just going to write in about the same thing. It's been frustrating. Zooming out (either in 2-D or 3-D mode) reverts back to some standard view before I even had time to see what it was I was zooming out for.

Any option to allow zoom to "stick" to the zoomed value until otherwise changed by me (and not by the gps)? BTW, using a TT1, 3rd Ed.

Whoops! Just saw there were some other replies (my browser only got the original thread's first posting). Too late to not submit my original reply, so I'm keeping it and adding these few words just to say that it really, really does frustrate me not to have a "sticky" zoom. If someone has a hack for that, that would be terrific.

Thanks!

Kalel.
