Having had a Garmin previously I really get frustrated with the TT maps. This includes roads not shown, names of roads not shown unless you turn on to it, inability to zoom out and maintain it and missing basic POIs such as rest areas on major interstates. Most of these short comings could be fixed with fairly simple software or reprograming changes. One thing I noticed was that almost all road names intersecting the road I was traveling on would appear when the map was displayed in the 3D mode where as when driving the same road in the 2D mode half of the road's names would not appear. I prefer the
2D since it provides a broader view of the area but really dislike the lack of road names. Can anything be done to get all the nearby road names to appear?
