I have had a number of problems with my unit ( XL Live IQ Routes UK + TomTom Traffic and services) over the past two weeks ie
Restarting
Boot screen appearing
Unit grey screen - no signal/lost satellites - Have GPS quickfix on
Have tried soft restart on a number of occasions with no joy.
Is there any way one can do a total clean out of the unit and do a re-install?
My only problem is that never did a Back up from new 6 mths ago however have found my complete file on computer in
C/Docs&Settings/Kev/MyDocs/TomTom/Home/
here I have the files: Back up / Download / From Device / Sharing / Uploads
and relief my Map is there!
So instructions how to get back to an original & clean installation would be of great help and I will then perform an Explorer Back up and hopefully my unit problems will be sorted unless someone can tell me otherwise.
