I have two issues that would be good to have solutions for
1. My Drive seems to think that I'm in the Netherlands when I'm infact in the UK. Is there a way to amend this?
2. On my TT550 in My Places, I have items such as Tourenfahrer Museum, Tourenfaher Racetracks etc which I can't remove as the 'Edit List' button is not clickable. (When activating my TT550 my old devices POI's were automatically transferred across into My Places and now sit amongst these which was handy however I want to get rid of the Tourenfaher items. . .

Any help would be gratefully recieved.

many thanks

Shaun.

As far as the Touenfahrer POIs are concerned they are embedded and cannot be deleted, just ignore them, it used to get on my nerves too but I learned to ignore it.
Are you using My Drive on a computer or a hand held device? If on a laptop, take it outside and let your GPS chip see the sky.

Thanks for the response. It's a pain having those POI's on the device - if that is how it is then I'll just have to ignore them like you say.
As for My Drive, I'm using it via my PC via BT Internet.

For Mydrive have you tried deleting cookies on your computer then reloading the Mydrive web page.

Yep - Did that as a first option - then I removed Mydrive and its associated files, reloaded it, and reset the TT550 too. . . it's exactly the same.
TBH as I'm not that impressed by it, I may bin the TT and go the Garmin route instead.

Are you using a desktop PC or laptop or tablet?
If tablet or laptop let your GPS chip see the sky, if Desktop PC then just use Home in My Places

For Issue 1, check whether your location is correct in Google Maps - I discovered a while back that my desktop (Mac) will not find/update my location in MyDrive (or Google maps) if I am using an ethernet connection to the router but works fine when I switch on the WiFi...

Just go to POI tap the one on the list you don’t want tap edit then delete. My Drive is being deleted in sept 2024 and replaced with Amigo. It doesn’t even show road numbers. Back to google maps or Garmin I think!!

Actually, it's GO Ride that's being discontinued in September.
