TT One XL or Garmin 250w ?

Okay guys, I think I kind of know what I want to do. I should be getting my TT One v3 tomorrow, which I bought at Best Buy online for Boxing Day at $139. I have done lotttttttttts of reading regarding wider screens and seem inclined to maybe go that route. After all my stress over getting one of the defective One's, I now seem to feel go wider and upgrade to the XL. I can get it online for $250.

Now the dilemma: I have also done lots of reading regarding Garmin, which many reviews rank as a better overall unit that TT so was now thinking should I go this route? I can get the 250w, which is similar to the XL but has better reviews, for $290.

I know this is a TT forum, but I also don't want to make the wrong choice.

yes the 250 does not have TTS, but I am looking at the XL, not the XL-S. Can't seem to find an XL-S in the price range I want..
