TT ONE 140S questions

I just bought my 140S today. Can anybody let me know if my device will tell me ahead of street with direction (ie I-5 N or I-5 S)
My friend told me that 140S can only speak number street ( 10th street for example) not aphabet street (ie Main street). is that correct?

If you have the 's' model then you should be hearing the voice say 'Main Street'. But, to do so, you need a computer voice selected.

Also, please make an Explorer, not Home, backup of your unit's contents. Ensure hidden files/folders are showing.

Another question (big question): Does it show me my next freeway with direction? My other GPS just tell me to get into I-5, didn't tell me in advance that it is I-5 N. I hope with this 140S, it will display I-5 N, not just I-5

Why don't you try planning a route involving the intersection in question and then run a demo of the route with the % at 400 or less?

You'll see what you'd see 'in real life'.
