tt folder on pc delete?

Just want to say thanks first for all replys on other posts I made, new here.
My question is ,I did a complete back up of my tt now after all upgrades .I made a DVD disc of the tomtom folder that was on my hard drive.To save space since the total contents are 1.9 gigs,would it be safe to delete this folder since its on disc and just leave the tomtom home program installed? or would this creat problems when backing up tt in the future after any more upgrades or changes and then just tossing out the old DVD and makeing a new one and deleting the hard drive files from PC again.

Actually, that's what I do burn my backups to a DVD to save space on the hard drive. So far I haven't had any problems transferring the DVD content to my SD card for my ONE.

This shouldnt make any difference if I reinstall to tt drive instead of a memory card should it?
Dont have a need to have one in yet
