TT Cig adapter to charge my Razor?

yeah, you can, it was the second thing i did with my tomtom, anything that will charge a usb with the same connector works just fine.

Like already said here by the others, USB is USB.

Car adapter is 12 Volts DC input to 5 Volts DC output via mini-USB

Razr, PSP, TomTom, anything with the mini-USB connector.

USB is USB. It will work fine.

But the Motorola Razr V3 charger says output: 5 V, 550 mA, while the TomTom ONE XL charger says output: 5 V, 2 A. That's four times the amperage. I'm concerned the Razr circuitry would fry. Have you guys tried it multiple times over a long period of time?

That's not what the current ratings mean.

The current rating is the maximum amount of current the charger can supply.

IF the Razr "draws" 100 mA, then that's all it will get. Devices "draw" only the exact amount of current they consume.

Problems occur on the other end...

EXAMPLE with a bogus number for illustration:

IF the Razr tries to "draw" 5 Amps from a charger rated to only supply 2 Amps, you will blow the charger or fuse.
