TT 920 - Help!!

Everything was fine with my TT 920 whilst using a PC but once transferred to my new Apple, everything has gone wrong!


Firstly I don't have full functionality of the TomTom Home - it doesn't seem user friendly and once I downloaded the upgrade everytime I opened the program it would come up at an error page. Also it won't allow me to download anything like updates etc. It just says there is a fault and closes the application which is really annoying.

Since my problems with this the maps have been unreliable and have not been picking up the satellites hardly at all, which is really annoying.

I have tried uninstalling and installing, restoring factory settings, even pressing the reset button, but nothing is working.

I've run out of ideas completely.

And today i have noticed the Lane Guidance function under preferences and just gone to enable it and it says that my maps are not compatible with this. How do I get this working?

Feeling a little annoyed as paid a considerable amount of money for what now seems like a lump of junk!!

Please can someone help me restore it back to it's natural beauty.

Well, for starters......TTHome doesn't work well with a mac as far as some functionality is concerned, especially the emulator 'Operate My Go'; it doesn't work on most Macs. I suggest you keep using a PC if you must use TTHome.

About the ALG. Do you have a map at version 8.05 or just a map at level 7.something? If a map at level 7, the ALG does not work with that level of map; you need a level 8 and it's not yet available for the x20 models.

It sounds as if you've updated to FIRMWARE Navcore 8.010 which DOES show the ALG icon, but you need both the firmware 8 and level 8 map.

Not possible yet. Sorry.
