Is anyone else having trouble with Tyre. Two computers all the sudden won't allow action after clicking in the information window. I cannot build an itinerary.

Jim, no trouble with mine (ver 5.822). Several hours ago I prepared a route and am currently using it on location. I have confirmed it a few minutes ago with a new test route, again no trouble.

Be sure you have an internet connection.

Maybe checking your version, reloading if needed a more current version?

Good luck (and welcome to TTF)!

I've had problems with satellite view, but found that it works fine in map view. I've found the author of Tyre to be very responsive, so you might try emailing him and describing the problem you are having.

i thought it was an issue with my computers. thanks for the post.
I hope it get resolve soon. I have a big ride planed this weekend and need to clean up my map route.

I was also having all types of issues with Tyre last night and thought it was an issue with my PC or something.

This forum is always full of great info :)

I gave up on Tyre months ago. Just wasn't working right for me. With every additional way-point I added, it would slow to a crawl. I'm only talking about 5 or 6 way-points. Seems to be a memory hog. My PC only has 1 gig, so maybe that's the problem – not sure.

Funny you should mention that, Rick. A LONG time ago I gave up on Tyre for the same reason, but was advised that an update had resolved that problem. I haven't had any problems with it since - that was a couple of years ago. I'm currently running version 5.82, but it has been telling me that there is an update available that I have not installed yet. Mine is snappy with over 1000 waypoints at a time, and while I've got 2GB onboard, I'm running a ton of other stuff concurrently. What version are you running?

Hmmm? I'll have to check to see what version I'm running.

Thanks Canderson.
