I just installed tripmaster on my ONE XL a few days ago. It's a bit slow but it still runs just fine. This is with NavCore 8 as well. I just followed the instructions.

I followed instruction also. It tries to download but it say's it wont work with my device

Did you install v 1.8 or one of the 2.x versions ?

1.8a. Didn't bother to try 2.0 yet. I did however, have to create a custom menu for the app to even appear on the menu. This would apply to NavCore 8 and up.

I don't like to install any 3rd-party applz but the functionality as Tripmaster, I consider it is a very basic feature of any gps device, I still don't know why Tomtom has NOT implemented it on their unit.

Newbie here.

I agree, I can NOT believe my new TomTom doesn't have the ability to track an unplanned route. My 10yr old Garmin 3+ can do that.

Just got off the phone with TomTom support and she claims that there's a "major" release in the works that "might" have this feature.

Had I known of this limitation, I wouldn't have bugged my wife to get this as a Christmas present, dang it.
