TomTom Model(s)
Start 60
I have purchased my first Tomtom, a Start 60, having used a Garmin for several years. I assumed that trip logging/breadcrumbs etc would be a basic feature of any GPS navigation device so did not bother to check the 60's capability.
Now I am somewhat disgusted to discover that TomTom does not provide this feature. I have come across others who are similarly upset.
I have found references to a program called Tripmaster that apparently creates trip log files that can be transferred to Google Earth and such.
Does anyone have any recent experience with this app?
Is anyone aware of other software that can be used with a Start 60 to see your travel history?
Or best case, is anyone aware of a potential move by Tomtom to fix this?
Why on earth would they not have this capability?

TomTom has never offered that feature. At one time, when it was still possible to load 3rd party software, Tripmaster could be installed to manage logging. But your 60 is a newer generation that does not support that feature.

If you have a smart phone then there's plenty of apps that can track your wearabouts. There's one by Google for Android called Track. That shows your route directly on google maps and I believe you can upload it to your PC. I'm sure there's plenty more for iPhone if that is your taste.
