Transfer data from 825 to 5200

I have a Go825 which I am passing on to my daughter. I have just purchased the Go5200 and want to transfer all of My Places and My Routes from the 825 to the 5200 but cannot understand the solutions from Tomtom. Is this possible? Can anyone help?

Set up the 5200 with the same username/pw as on the 825. Make sure you're logged into MyDrive on the 5200 with the username/pw.

Locations on MyDriveWeb with the 825 should be transferred to the 5200 by wifi.

Thank you very much for the prompt reply. I had been struggling for a couple of hours but it is now sorted.
Could I ask a supplementary question? The cause of the whole problem was that I had changed my email address and my old 825 Tomtom had the old one. I solved the problem by resetting he 5200 Tomtom and registering it with the old email. How do I now change it to my new email for my 5290 Tomtom and Android mobile?

Again, Factory Reset wipes out an existing email address on the device.
