I just had my 920 plan a route in the SF area that had 21 minutes of delay. OK, lets minimize delays.
It offered two alternatives - fastest and avoid all delays. I chose fastest, and it was the original 1.13 hours. Out of curiosity, I checked the "avoid all delays" - and it came out at 50 vs 40 miles, but 1.07 hours versus the longer time for the shorter route.
Either the TomTom program is devilishly clever (I doubt it), and has projected the delays will be gone by the time I get there - OR - it needs some work from the programming perspective.
Check both alternatives is the recommendation of the day...
