Traffic connection

Hi all I have a rider 550 and am having lots of trouble connecting to traffic and tomtom account. If i switch on my bluetooth my phone says tomtom rider 550 connected and if i switch on my bluetooth tethering it says sharing this phones internet with 1 device and on bluetooth it says local internet connection shared with device but my device is constanly saying service unavailable for traffic and tomtom account and on device bluetooth connected. on device data for traffic and other services it says connected. anyone else having constant problems connected to traffic via bluetooth and always saying service unavailable. the stupid thing is i was on my motorbike last sunday all day and no problem but yesterday problems. cheers guys. my phone is a samsung A34 Android.

If you can, give a WiFi connection a try instead of Bluetooth and see if that improves things at all.

On the whole, I've found WiFi to be simpler to activate and to provide a more stable connection. Also avoids conflicts with any other Bluetooth connections (e.g., helmet audio). Give that a go and tell us if you find it working better for you.

Yes. It has different names, but 'mobile hotspot' would certainly be one of the possible names for it. It's technically called 'tethering' regardless of whether it is Bluetooth or WiFi.
