Tomtom XL & GO300

This might be a dumb question, but here goes..

What would happen if you copied the Tomtom XL data to a GO300 SD card would my GO300 work I like the speed/speedlimit function on the Main display of the XL.....told you it was a dumb question

I don't believe it will work because the ONE XL is of a higher version of the 300. However, I don't have a ONE XL nor a 300

If the 300 has latest rev6 firmware and latest map(s) then it shows the overspeed function like any other tomtom.

Maps from one device won't work an another (even if the firmware is compatible) because they won't be authorised
