TomTom Via 125 - UK Driver in Europe

Hi All,

hope this forum can help me in understanding my device.

I have been using this device in UK for the last couple of years and it comes with Europe map as well.

One of the concern for me is driving in Europe on the right hand side. If i use this device in Europe will it automatically keep me guiding in a way that i will be able to position my vehicle on the right side land ?

I never drove in Europe and all these years only in UK. So please provide all the insights you have for the new driver in Europe..

Hello

It's up to you to position yourself on the right lane.

At no time will the GPS tell you that you are not on the right lane.

If you stay on this right lane, the GPS will tell you to turn right or left.

I've used a Via 125 in the Netherlands and Germany for years. It will guide you through roundabouts correctly showing the counter-clockwise flow nicely. No worries there

@saravix Just out of curiosity, are map updates still available for your Via 125? Mine didn't get updates anymore after 10-2019.

The app installed on my windows pc says this to download.. not sure if this is still dating back to 2019 or a latest one for the present year

Only Via 125 which starts with serial number BN and BG can still be updated with a newer version of the maps.
