TomTom Rider 400 touchscreen only partly working.

Hi,

My TomTom 400 showed small water drops behind the screenglass after an one hour drive a in the rain. It kept working though. In the evening I tried to get rid of the water using a hairdryer with caution. Water gone, but the touchscreen could not be used for 1/3 anymore. Screen still shows everything without flaws, but I'm not able to select things on that part of the screen anymore.

Is it broken beyond repair or can it still be fixed without having to buy new parts?

If your screen no longer responds to touch, it's your screen that has a problem.

You need to change it, contact Tomtom to repair it for €105

You can change it yourself you have to find a new screen on the web the problem is the waterproofing.
