Tomtom RDS TMC Traffic Antenna

Hi, i was wondering if anyone has had any success with this addon. I have read in reviews that the signal is not that great in the UK and it's useless in busier states like Los Angeles.

I am in Canada and if some peeps could chime in if it works up north.

Sorry but Canadian coverage is limited to Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal.

btw, have you made an Explorer, not Home backup of your unit's contents? If not, please do so.

To increase the RDS devices capacity to pick up signals have you considered connecting it to your car aerial? This works in the correct frequency band and with the car aerial being outside the vehicle it works so much better than a bit of "shoe lace" strung up around the windscreen. It also means less cables strewn around the cab of the car, should you need any details on how to do this just ask - Mike
