TomTom POI icons in map view - how to tell what they are?

I have a TomTom 125 but this question is probably generic to all TomTom units so I'll ask it here:

I have my preferences set to show certain POIs during navigation / map view. So during my driving I'll see a POI icon pop up on the route.

My question is, is there a way to get more details about that POI? For example some icon showed up with a key and something, I wasn't exactly sure what it was, and couldn't get more detail by pushing my finger against the icon to find out more.

So is the POI display pretty much just limited to showing icons, and not get you more detail?

Hi dhn, thanks for responding. I did that and I don't believe it got me any more detail when I did that (yesterday). I'll try it again and report back if I'm wrong about this.
