Hi !!! I'm new here but i bay a tomtom one and I have a problem. When I connect my tomtom with my pc my pc say dont recognize and when I put the sd card them my pc recognize my tomtom. This is normal or no ???? Please say me ???
And dont laugh to me because i'm from Macedonia and my writing is not profesional

Try to do a reset of the unit with the sd card in. Then do a reset of the unit with the card out. Then connect the unit to the computer and see if the situation is ok.

I do this and again i have the same problem. My computer not recognize root directory of my TomTom device. My computer recognize my tomtom only when I put sd card in. when I take sd cart out my computer not recognize say (no device connected). Please help my say me what to do ?????????????

I see this but when I connect with sd cart in hi ask mi this . But when I connect witout sd cart he dont recognize and now my answer is this is normal or no. And when I on my tom tom hi the language is on Hungarian but I can change on english. But I must say I dont have a map. This is problem or no ????

When you connect the unit to the computer, does Explorer see the internal unit as a storage device?

If so....

With your model, everything (meaning application and maps) must be on either the sd card or the unit itself. It appears your application is on the sd card.

I'm saying to try put the card into the unit. Use Explorer to copy all the loose files in the root of the sd card (meaning NO Folders or their contents, just loose files) to the unit. Loose files are all those NOT in any folder. When the files are copied, disconnect the unit PROPERLY from the computer, using the usb icon in the notification area of the computer. Restart the unit without the sd card in it. Does it now start up?

Explorer dont see the internal storage device? When I open a Device manager there is a storage volume but explorer doesnt see my storage device. This is my problem. When I put sd cart in then hi open yust a files on my sd card. How to copy now on storage device ???
