Hi , i have a Tomtom one Canada 310 , bought it two months ago. It is running 8.010 versoin with the latest map then 810 i believe. Did not know about the 30 day guarantee and updated it right away. Now the question about the new 815 map. I just want to know before I buy the new mao , or will it work with this ? Can anyone that has the 815 map tell me if the road

In order to use map 8.15, you MUST upgrade the firmware to 8.3. I'd be leary about doing so since there are problems with that release including stuttering computer voices if you have that kind of model and loss of the fm transmitter functionality for announcements.

fm transmitter functionality? i did not know i had that on my unit. how do i enable that? Plus, Tomtom home will not let me update it to 8.3 anyway.

You may not have that fm functionality on your model. (If you do, it's under Preference-->Speaker Preferences).

Strange not being offered 8.3 f/w; mind you, you may want to count your blessings.
