You didn't specify a location, so as a moderator, I had to cheat and back through your IP address. I see you're in the U.K. There, you have some options that don't include strange Chinese exporters

Here's one such option: Sat nav repairs, TomTom repair, Tom Tom repairs, TomTom repairs, Garmin repair

As I understand it, they will both sell parts and repair if you don't want to open the case.

Didn't mean to make it quite so obvious <g>. I started typing the reply but had to pause for the lookup of the url that I gave him -- all before you posted, so never saw yours until after mine had already been submitted. When I started to answer, there weren't any replies yet.

That said, does A&VSS actually sell parts, too? If so, that would be a good resource here. I have yet to run across a N.A. source for parts.

Have no idea. I get the feeling they do not. You have to send the unit to them, I think.
