Tomtom One Xl and TomTom Go 720

right i am from the uk and i have a tomtom one xl regional and a standerd 2gb mem card with western europe and usa a canada maps + i got 1 year sub to traffic and safaty camera i and thinking of geting a new tomtom go 720 is it posible to add the 720 to my account and then use the traffic and safaty camera and the usa a canada maps on the 720 after i have linked in to my account

You need to call TomTom to get the Traffic account transfered to your 720 account.
However, this will not work for the maps as they are tied to the device.

thats a fucking con i payed for the maps why cant i use them on the 720

To prevent copies from being made because the maps are copyrighted. It is like purchasing software with a license key. This is done so no one makes copies to use on other machines. The same goes with maps. You can use the map, just on your XL and not on additional units.

so what if i wanted to sell my one xl i still have the standerd sd card i got with it so the maps would useless a waste of money why cant i link the maps to the new 720 like you could do with the traffic

You can try contacting TT Support. Let them know you plan to sell your XL and would like to have the newly purchased maps to work on your 720.
