What version of tomtom one do i have?It didnt come with a SD card,everything was already installed.And the map version is V665.1293.Do i have the newest version?

The map version 665.1293 is not the latest as the ONE XL comes with version v675.xxxx, and the newer units i.e. 520/720 comes with v705.xxxx. However, I do not know for certain how much of improvement, if any, from 665 to 705.

It is a bit confusing with all the terms such as v2 and v4 but you have the v4.

You can always get new map updates from TomTom's website: http://www.tomtom.com/.
Their map update site seems to be down for the moment, but that's where I would suggest buying it.

As far as map versions go, has anyone had a chance to use the v705 maps? I have the v675 on the XL I'm using and it's been perfect so far but I'm interested to hear about the newest version.
