TOMTOM ONE NEW EDITION - Problem installing Home

hi, all
Need some advice, I have tried to install tom-tom home now several times on my PC and I am running
Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit with ie11. Now I have read quite a few threads saying its not compatible. I have tried every suggestion and still know joy. Installed as administrator, no joy. Run in Xp mode no joy.
Are there any other solutions anyone can sugest. I,m at my wits end now, its obvious to me its a driver issue.
So why don't Microsoft or tomtom home come up with a driver, that does the job.
Any advice would be most appreciated.

I run Win7 Ult-64 SP1 and there is nothing wrong with it.
MSIE has nothing to do with running HOME.

Check TomTom;s web page to make sure your device is supposed to use HOME and not MyDirect.
Or, connect your device to the PC and check if Windows Explorer sees it as a separate drive letter. If yes, HOME is correct.

Try uninstalling Home 2 with the freeware version of Revo Uninstaller. Get it here:
http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html
Then get a fresh version of Home at tomtom.com/home
