TOMTOM One MAIN Menu missing 'Tutorial'

Friends-

I have created the following tomtom.mnu file below under TomTom One's \sdkregistry. The main menu is restructured as desired except for one item that does not appear: 'Tutorial'. When I look at the third main menu page I see the other icons (Download, Weather, Traffic, Phone, and Page1). One placeholder is empty. I have changed location within the page, to other pages, put a different icon in which seems to work. What am I missing?

I have App 6.560 and GPS v1.21 and Boot 1.12. I am using the USA & Cananda Maps v660.1215. I have red bolded the line in question.

Thanks in Advance

It doesnt' show up in both Virtual TomTom and when you manually turn on your unit and check?

Pedro2NR-

That is correct. It does not show up on either the device or the virtual device. Is the command name different for this version of software? If I take out the .mnu file, as expected, it reverts to original menus and the tutorial is present.

Not that this is a killer as I don't really use it, but am interested from a completeness perspective.

thanks-

I was testing your custom menu and can confirm that it does not show up. I browed through Virtual TT and disconnecting and checking it stand alone.

My folder was originally 'SDKRegistry' but didn't work there so I renamed to 'sdkregistry', then 'SdkRegistry', and finally 'sdkRegistry' and nothing.

Perhaps the guided tour icon code has changed?

This is the file I used to trouble shoot:

MENUBLOCK|BLOCK_MAIN|BTM_GPS_POSITION|
MENUPAGE|TASK_PAGE1|Page 1|
MENUITEM|TASK_MENU_PREFERENCES|
MENUITEM|TASK_TUTORIAL|
MENUITEM|TASK_HELP_ZOOMING|
MENUITEM|TASK_HELP_TRAFFIC|
MENUITEM|TASK_HELP_PLANNING|
MENUITEM|TASK_PAGE2|
MENUPAGE|TASK_PAGE2|Page 2|
MENUITEM|TASK_HELP_MAPBROWSER|
MENUITEM|TASK_HELP_MAINMENU|
MENUITEM|TASK_HELP_ITINERARY|
MENUITEM|TASK_HELP_GENERAL|
MENUITEM|TASK_EMPTY|
MENUITEM|TASK_PAGE1|
MENUBLOCK|BLOCK_PREF|BTM_GPS_POSITION|
MENUPAGE|TASK_PAGE3|Preferences Page 1|
MENUITEM|TASK_TUTORIAL|
MENUITEM|TASK_HELP_ZOOMING|
MENUITEM|TASK_HELP_TRAFFIC|
MENUITEM|TASK_HELP_PLANNING|
MENUITEM|TASK_HELP_MAPBROWSER|
MENUITEM|TASK_PAGE4|
MENUPAGE|TASK_PAGE4|Preferences Page 2|
MENUITEM|TASK_HELP_MAINMENU|
MENUITEM|TASK_HELP_ITINERARY|
MENUITEM|TASK_HELP_GENERAL|
MENUITEM|TASK_EMPTY|
MENUITEM|TASK_EMPTY|
MENUITEM|TASK_PAGE3|

The weird thing is the other help functions work:

TASK_HELP_GENERAL, General help
TASK_HELP_ITINERARY, Help for itinerary
TASK_HELP_MAINMENU, Help for the main menu
TASK_HELP_MAPBROWSER, Help for the map view
TASK_HELP_PLANNING, Help for route planning
TASK_HELP_TRAFFIC, Help for traffic
TASK_HELP_ZOOMING, Help for zooming

except

TASK_TUTORIAL , Guided tour

Looks like there was a change or it never worked.

Not all icons can be accessed when using a custom menu

Guys-

Thanks. It helps to see it was not just me. I guess it's either not there in the new software or the command has changed. I do remember someone doing a hex dump of 6.56 original menus and I am sure the 'Tutorial' function was there. So, this one confounds...

Update us if you can find the new menu commands. I'm interested in the 'Load Itinerary' button especially.
