I have the TT One 3rd edition and its very laggy when im driving, its never smooth and i find myself not turning in time because its always half a street off atleast. I downloaded all the updates, so is this how it is all the time?

stop at one of the intersections and see if it is showing things where they should be. strange as it may seem, I was in a town yesterday where the whole town is mismapped by 50-100 yards. everything off by half a block or more.

You can't expect a little device with limited processor and ram to react quickly with every know bell and whistle turned on.

One reason I suspect the "zoom out" feature zooms back in automatically - at some point (probably when it starts zoomin back in) it would slow to a crawl making it virtually unusable.

Make sense?

Ok i turned off all the poi's exept 3, ill let you know tommorow. Would 2d or 3d display make a difference?

I have the majority of the POI's selected and mine is laggy, but generally only for the first few minutes after being turned on. After it's been on a few minutes the map updates at a normal rate of speed.

In playing around a bit I found that it seems to only happen after I've had it connected to the computer last. I think this has something to do with the fact that after you disconnect it from the computer it seems to do a full boot, powering on/off in the car seems more like putting it in 'suspend', just based on the startup times (and the disclaimer display).
