TomTom One Ed2 Problem

Evening All,

Hoping someone can help me as I seem to have buggered up my TomTom.

It is a One Edition 2 and the problem I have is I tried to update it it but when it tries to write to the car is cannot write to the TTSYSTEM file.

Now when I turn on the unit I get this

I have tried to open up the SD card and follow advice I have read on here but even when I try to display hidden files nothing appears. Even though there is over 200mb of data on the card?

Any help greatfully received.

The software could be corrupted, or the card may be going bad.

- First thing, do a manual backup per these steps now (that way things don't get worse).
- Then format the card (disable quickformat), and copy only the UK&ROI folder from your backup back onto the card.
- Then disconnect and power on/off on your Tomtom. It should return to the same error screen, but creates some ID files in the process
- Then reconnect to your computer, and run "Update my ONE" in tomtom HOME repeatedly until there is nothing new to install.

Hopefully the steps above will fix your problem.
