Hi guys...

I'm a TT newbie and have some basic questions. I've did the search to find the answers, but I couldn't...or just not searching properly. I don't know...so I'll just ask.

1. How do I check what's on my SD card? If I want to upgrade it to a bigger memory size, how do I do that? Just copy contents on my original SD card and paste into the new SD card?

2. Can I add maps to the SD card and run it from there? Or...does it always have to be from the internal memory?

3. I have an "open" Lane Assist icon, but when I click on it, it tells me that I don't have to right map version (I have NA 7.10). Will upgrading it to 7.20 do it?

Thank you in advance for the help. Seems like lots of info can be found here.

1. If you have a card reader, insert sd card into it and view with Explorer. If you don't, insert into unit and use Explorer to read its contents that way (Explorer should 'see' two removable storage units, the unit and the card). Yes, essentially that's the way to transfer to a larger sd card. Also, see information in this thread: http://tomtomforums.com/showthread.php?t=1192

2. Yes you can install maps on the sd card. The x20 and x30 models will detect their presence (if you also have a map in internal, you'd use Manage maps-->switch in preferences)

3. You probably have Navcore 8.010 installed as firmware. That provides the icon but you also need version 8 maps (not 7.20) to make it work and v8 maps are not as yet available for 720 units.
